- Permeability (Penetration): The oil has to be capillary and penetrate deep into the tiny gaps between the side plates and the rollers that are invisible to the naked eye.
- Anti-Fling (Fling-resistance): The formula must have high adhesion (that is, it must be sticky enough) so as to withstand the centrifugal force of frantically tearing the oil film when the sprocket rotates at high speed.

Motorcycle chain in the end can use gear oil?
